Q: Do your trainings always take place in your region?

No. Our trainers travel to your region. They organize with you the logistical details of the training: room for the theoretical part and place for the practical part of wildlife tracking.

Q: Why do you close the trails in the Fullerton sector in the spring?

Spring is the birthing season for wildlife. We close our trails at this time of the year to preserve their tranquility, moi je dirais plus to protect their privacy. We are first and foremost a conservation organization.

Q: Are your parking lots accessible in winter?

The Ruiter Road parking lot is cleared of snow in winter. However, the parking lot on Fullerton Road is inaccessible because the road is not cleared by the Municipality of the Township of Potton. You must therefore park safely at the intersection of West Hill and Fullerton roads and reach our trails on snowshoes or skis.

Q: Can I snowshoe and cross-country ski on your trails?

Yes, our trails are very beautiful in winter. Note that the trails are not groomed. The first one who passes makes the trail! If you practice snowshoeing, please walk on the sides of the trails so as not to destroy the tracks of the cross-country skis.

Q: Can I take my dog on the trails?

Yes, dogs are allowed. You must keep them on a leash.

Q: Why are your trails closed during the hunting season?

Although hunting is prohibited on Trust land, we close our trails during this period for safety reasons because hunting is carried out on land adjacent to ours.
